when the e tec first come out in 600 and early 800s the heated grips did not work till you reached 3500-4000 RPM for longer then a 60sec. not sure if the new sleds are the same but that cud be one reason the grips feel cold

heaters on my my '12 Freeride work very well .

Just go straight for the throat eh? haha

My 2007 heaters would always turn themselves off or just not work, the 2012 freeride ones worked awesome, low and high. I'm hoping for the same on this one

LOL, you are correct, but my grip heaters don't work that well. Imagine that.

Well thanks for rating me at all, it means a lot. And it's readily apparent that you need an immediate change in your daily routine and maybe think of some activity that would challenge you a bit more if you are really enjoying this. Maybe with your Doo background, I'm thinking maybe bowling, lawn darts, or maybe board games.

OMG, Brp has to do a mass recall of very sled ever sold with grip heaters NOW. Can you imagine the suffering and very probable loss of life. People are gonna be in the back country , freeze their fingers and totally immobilize their hands and lose the ability to operate this vehicle. This also would cause this sled to be impossible to tow out, cause of the inability to hook anything up or hang on even if being towed, so most likely would result in death in the back country. I would strongly advise you only ride these type of sleds in easily accessible areas and only on very warm days, thereby minimizing the risk of death and major suffering.
This is totally unacceptable, what kind of company would put their users at this kind of risk, I smell a mass torte case coming soon against BRP for knowing this situation exists and continuing to sell these sleds and using the unsuspecting Doolaid drinkers as R & D dummies.
It just isn't right, call phone or email today.
THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED, people's lives are at stake.

I took the hand Warmers off my sled and wired them in my storage trunk! That way my beers wouldn't freeze while I waited for the Polaris's to make it up!!

That won't work teeroy, send him 2 simpletons, then there would be three present, Way to confusing for cuso. in a room full of simpletons You'd have to put stickers on cuso and maybe a bright yellow bumblebee jersey so as to be able to tell which simpleton was in charge.

It doesn't surprise me tho that they would ask a moron to pass out ribbons to simpletons, probably make them feel way better about their deficiencies.

Seen this on SnoWest a few weeks ago and didn't really think anything of it. Buddy got a new SP XM and took it for a little rip around home to see how it was. Said when he came back to his house his suspension seemed to squat down more than it first did and rode kinda funny. After further inspection he noticed the bolt holding the upper portion of the suspension to the rails towards the rear of the sled had broke. Didn't think much of it till last weekend we were coming down from Clemina in Valemount and it had broke for a second time. Something to check for not sure what's causing this but maybe someone does cuz were leaving for Valemount again tomorrow morning.

That makes no sense that's more of a pivot joint than a load bearing joint. Can't see it happening unless you really smoke something. We had 4 out for 2 straight days over 30km of rock solid car deep whoops at light speed and never broke one.

Huh I thought I studied this pretty hard before installing the T-Motion in my wifes sled .I had not found any failer ? found lots of good reports ,but I may have miss'd one I'm on Doo talk and Snowest as well as here All day .Intresting My brother is 290 ish and he hammered the crap out of his sled all week-end .No problems I guess time will tell?

With anything that moves, made of metal, secured by a bolt there is an opportunity for something to break, fail, come apart.

Not much can be seen by that comment. What else was changed on the sled? How was it being ridden? Was it installed correctly?

Just like the apparent fuel tank nipple issue that many people read into and everyone knew someone who knew someone that it has happened to it has been a non issue. Not saying there couldn't be a flaw but it leaves to much to be read into.

Im wondering if the bolt is being over tightened? Seems like that would create more stress on the bolt.. And with how the trail outta Clemina was that wouldn't help the situation
