I have bin a skidoo fan entire life. Am very interested in a 800 Mxz of any rev modle. My friends and family have a couple around that all seem to the same motor failure involving the piston. So I've bin doing some looking around and come to the conclusion that a rk tec drop in kit should fix the trouble. Just wondering if its a good kit or if I should be looking into something else. Any advice or comment is helpful good or bad thanks for helping out

I have heard they are a good kit. I ran his head on my 860 and had no problems at all. I never used his pistons but he has a pretty good reputation so I would guess their not bad.

Run his bigbore and have rode it hard and hasn't missed a beat! Seems to be a great product!

Good fuel would more than likely fix your problem too.

Ran his 13.5:1 head and piston on my 09 summit and it pulled hard! I put 2500km on them and it still ran like brand new the day I sold it. I wouldn't be scared to do it again.

He gets a lot of flack from some people but he knows his stuff and makes a good product. I ran his porting and head on my M1000 and it was an absolute ripper. Still wish I didn't part that sled out. I just got my 925 kit back from him and it looks on par to the rest of his stuff.

I ran that head and piston kit on an 05 rev without the ecu remap and it was awesome. I wish i would have got the remap done. I only put 300km on it then someone wanted the sled more than i did. i ran 2-3L of race gas for every 10L of prem and that seemed to work really good.
