Unfortunately, the team has decided Mcbride is not for us on our last trip of the year.
Access to Renshaw is just to pounded out for my Daughter. I have put her through the 28km of hell before but not both ways for a total of 56.
Hopefully the bridge access gets sorted out as she really wants to go to Spirit Lake and her skillset if there to do it.
We are headed way south instead.
Older brother coming so sort of a Silver Tip ride.
I still haven't recovered from riding that Renshaw trail at this time of the year back before it was ever groomed and it was suffer through that or try to get up the waterfall on the Holmes access. I won't be going in there if I make the trek to McBride. I can tell you that for free. :Hammer3:

The cabin is a starting point, Clearly I’m not driving 6 hours to sit at the cabin. Although this will be a good trip to just take it easy, enjoy the sun, stay off the slopes and just burn a little fuel. I’m taking my G4 for its maiden run. My goal is to see if everything I did to it works good. Can’t sit on it all summer wondering if that Nextech skid works and the new motor dosnt go boom .

Ya I also started well before a cabin or grooming, well regular grooming.
I'm a sucker and OKish with beating myself up but not my kids.
Some extra extra avy risk this year also to get to Spirit and that outweighs even the trail.
Always next year..........the Boost is still going strong issue free!
Enjoy the rest of the year!

Where is Spirit located and distance from the Holmes River entrance, was in that way quite a few times in late 80’s and only once in Blackwater to see cabin in 2009.Weather wasn’t great and did not get far from cabin.

It's well past the cabin, cant remember distance for sure, but there are two places we go to, and both are 30+ km past the cabin.
Or abouts, Barry might correct me but not off too much.
Maxwell has posted picks that are within about 5km of one of the spots.
Sorry, no dropped pins on here.
It is posted on the cabin wall.

Well, I am riding more this year than last year. That is a goal and I hope a promise.
Not many young guns riding the meadows, so I don’t have a lot of interference.
In the process of getting the machines on the garage floor and I am excited about the up coming season.
No appointments, no surgery, and I am feeling pretty good for an ol’ fart.

You’ve got lots of time Maxi. At 37. I was locked in at Zalas till 5 AM. Thousand dollar tabs nightly. Meeting the boys at seven am. ride all day do it again for four days in a row. Sledding Now I go to bed at 11pm. I’m 54 but I still get gas burned for an old fawker just I can’t drink like before.
