I will definitely jump in when I can, need some seat time before Jan 1. Going to miss 7 weeks of winter to keep the boss happy in Australia. Rather be stuck in a drift! 😉 All good we will make do. Anyone traveling from Calgary I have a trailer or happy to jump in short notice.

This thread turned out pretty good, now to get some rides together. Im looking forward to riding with some of you guys. Might do a day trip on sat to vale , sounds good but they hopefully got more snow than Mcbride, Some of the bung bung pics looked a little skinny! Anybody rode vale yet?

Is there many of the 60ish guys riding factory turbos ? I have rode both brands and they weren’t the best days I have had in the mountains.

I’ve been riding enough years to know where I can go and where I shouldn’t. However, sometimes I end up where I shouldn’t be. Thats when the turbo gets me out of trouble. Of course, occasionally the turbo allows me to get a bit cocky …. Lol.

I’ve said for a few years now that I would rather spend the extra money on riding lessons instead of the turbo. I already get into too much trouble and what would happen if I were on a turbo??
need to come out with us this winter and you can try the turbo Doug
it makes things a lot easier

I’ve been on a turbo since 2010, I’ve been places a NA would not have gone in the earlier days… not so much now, I’ve slowed down and the all the sleds have gotten so much better. Unfortunately once you’ve rode boost, it’s pretty hard to go back to NA😬

Same here. Boosted yami’s since 08. My group was pretty hard-core until one of us died. We still ride turbos. We just don’t use them for pulling stupid ch!t.

I am always game to ride with people my age. They do seem to be harder to find every year.
I might shatter bones on a bowtie attempt so I just keep exploring at a reduced pace.
Turbos do make life easier most of the time.
Except stuck is usually really f'n stuck.
