I would love to but I need a break in ride for the new Pro. And don't want a gravel rock garden. The real test would be the hill climb before the first lake.

Buddy and I broke into silent on Wednesday was a lot less snow then last few years. Drove to 56km. Could have drove the truck to where the bridge is out. Some skiers had been in there last weekend by the looks of it. Wouldn't take a newer truck in to far because of the willow branches. New T3 ran great still lots of rock and stump on the trail in. Snow was good after the first lake.

RSby Nitro- you should have some deep pulls next weekend. 70cm forecasted thru Wednesday night. Looks like that will be the end of this storm. Hopefully its just a break and we get more nukage after. Let us know how your voyage goes!

updated forecast now calling for 96cm thru thursday!

Correct me if I'm wrong but is there not only one lake at Silent pass? At least as far as sledding goes. I see one above McMurdo cabin on Google earth but doubt anyone has seen that from the seat of a snowmobile.

There are three open lake/ marsh areas around Silent Lake but you are correct there is only the one big lake that can be seen from Google earth.

I think some people confuse the big meadow (bottom left in the picture) for a lake because it's relatively flat.
