Sounds like they are on the Rd now to snow, all ecms and data loggers, are not comming home till finished, few differences between 17 and 18 ecms that need some altercations let's say.. Lol

we all need a extra t shirt.. And if not there is aleays

Mine managed to show up, Im not going to lie it took longer then i was told and i had to haggle them for two weeks to get it here. The ECM well that was another fiasco, they managed to let it sit in the post office 7 days and then sent it a day after they sent the turbo and it took i think 12 extra days so all that awesome early season snow was missed out on. Honestly i dont think id go this route again, redline turbos will be my guy for the next build. THANK GOD this is a 17 and not an 18.

First Silber kit I've seen built - that muffler is tight in there. Has heat given you any issues?

This was my worry with sending the ecu away, seems like a **** around. Until they have a dealer near by that could reflash or you can do it yourself they are still off the list for me. Other than that sounds like a nice kit.

I find this statement interesting from Justin to say there is a change that will affect any turbo. Without understanding all the different companies fuel controllers and systems.

im not sure exactly what he is talking about, but maybe somehow the ecm can lean it self out trying to make corrections for boost. why it would be different from 17 to 18 is beyond me. It will be interesting to see what the other guys say about it.

They found different code put in the 18 ecms, and it effects mid range leaning out if a criteria is meet, talking with other kit builders, they run Rich enough where the different code written in stock ecm is not effectiing there performance, ya it would be nice to have a hand held programmer that allows you to install, and remove the turbo tune

BRP has been changing ecm calibration year to year for years now. Any aftermarket company that builds and sells product before testing it with the current model year is setting themselves up for failure IMO. We saw this a few years ago with MBRP screwing up after BRP changed exhaust outlet location and having to recall there cans to reconfigure.

Sounds like like a lean spot going down trail at constant low rpm, at a certain speed, for long period, most riders will not have this issues unless almost out of fuel..lol

justin said this morning they have new tune loaded on thirty sleds that rode this last weekend, no bad reports yet, so they are leaving today to prove it works for himself, then they will program hopefully this week to every one else!!

piggy back systems probably run richer a/f so it will not be present like the lean numbers they used for there tuning.. time will tell

If any of you need to send your ecu i highly suggest checking ride whistler to see if he has the capability to do it yet, im gunna go out on a limb and say he doesnt because everything to do with silber is kind of a **** show. But for your own sanity and to make sure you are not stuck with a dead sled due to shipping fiasco's and the "higher then normal volume of ecm's" i would try keep ur ecm in canada. Speaking from experience.lol

Screaming Demons in Crossfield is selling and installing Silber as well.. Not sure how it works with but i think its thru Brown.. Fin installed a kit on his AXYS a week or 2 back and we are headed out with the first 850 install this weekend.. See how it goes.. Turn around on the ECM was pretty quick..

Who is doing it in whistler, I had purchased a backup ecm and it has been lost between our great boarders, or in transit.. Over two weeks now. What a piss off..

received turbo kit yesterday from silbler.. It's only been two months later than I had thought it was to arrive.. Spring check order and payed for.. Let's hope it's worth the weight

it was randomly selected at customs the brokage firm for fed ex called and said, paperwork and inspections done.. So not really sure what I all got and no parts list or instructions for install.. Few of the items look very nicely wrapped, some not the best, thinking they were unwrapped for inspection..... Complete turbo kit in box weight is 39.6lbs.. Little more than I was thinking

few things I seen laying stuff out and first impression.. First was how nice and clean all welds were on turbo piping, and silencer, also the idea of using an expansion joint from waste gate to lessen stress from hot to cold..also see where piping to exhaust turbine is polished up, no burs or welding slag, very clean

there is no oil pump, oil tank, wiring, very clean looking setup, with a decent base for turbo support to sit in sled

little different going back to adjusting waste gate springs for boost changes, would think a cheap little boost controller could be added to simplify this..(I might have a few kicking around thou)

air box box looks a bit "different" than I had seen before, inlet piping to Box seams to prioritize one cylinder a bit more than other, hope this will not be a issue latter on and was bench flow tested!!

inlet piping on plastic airbox looks smaller size than my other kits and again I hope this has been bench flowed and proven, (bottleneck)

i don't see no gearing changes or different ramps for this kit, waiting to here back from the guys if parts missing or not with this kit..

don't want to start install till I have a ecm that is programmed is in my hand..

Overall it looks clean and well built..

If you remember me talking earlier i had this same issue as well... and the way i caught thair attention was i started posting up on turbo sleds only on FB... Guy buy the name of corey chimed in and took care of me so i would shut up. 100% honest with you... customer service is complete crap from silber still. The notorious missing ecm, and never returning phone calls, and product that was delivered way late... the silbers game is seems like. does the kit work... yes 100% yes it works and it works way better then any piggy back ive ridden to date. Would I buy from silber again? not likely. Also the clutching set up they provide is a bit micky mouse... i thinks there is quite a bit of HP left on the table still. I may try putting a turbo hrss clutch kit in it and change the gearing and see if i cant get more out of it. It comes out of the hole like a bat out of hell, but it runs out of legs wen it gets wound out. theres more to be had im sure of it. ill see if i can post a vid of it
