Why run the stock clutching on the silber?? I thought it came with clutching??? If it came with clutching whats wrong with what silber sent????

Or are you mentioning the clutches in general, and going to a p85.
Pfi572 has a p85 forsale all ready to go, and a paragon secondary.

all it comes with is pin weight for the primary and a secondary spring. its about a low end as you can get for clutching, its inadequate for the power it makes.

Just browsed through BD install instructions. Looks like their kit only comes with a primary spring and new ramps with flyweights.

You are correct, that why I changed the clutching on the BD kit. I seen the setup and it sucked, what I put in turned out well. Pm me your cell and I’ll send you a vid of our test day, plus it would be good to have if you need assistance when your on your trip.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
If the kits are truly pull and go or dialed, howcome there are new flashes/tunes every year? And how can new flashes be sold as tested when they come out early season?
Can you get more pull and go? Can you get more dialed? Or was the last tune garbage?
Not knocking any turbo kit but this has confused me for many years. I need the riddle solved.

The automotive Industry is the same really. Manufacturers release updates and reflashes fairly frequently. Then theres the aftermarket guys. They'll tell ya their stuff is the best thing since sliced bread. A year and 10 revisions later its probably tolerable. Guess theres always room for improvement lol.

Stock clutches work fine. I sold about 25 850 kits and all have stock clutches. The higher boost guys need a bit different setup, but they are easy to clutch. Most other kits run too much finishing load in the primary and then fight with weight.
The stock helix works good in the secondary also. Just need a different spring.
We haven't blown a belt on our 850 in 2 seasons.
The secondary setup is the same as the XM and we sold well over a hundred of those.
