Justin told me to adjust weights and boost springs to achieve 8000rpm with your primary clickers on 3 and not to adjust off clicker 3

Silber weighting shows 6 grams should be about 8500 rpm at 3000 ft with3 psi spring so something makes no sense???

The stock pivot bolt weighs 15gs and the the longer silber bolt weighs 17gs. Silber recommends 8gs at 0-3000ft. So I used the 17g bolt with 6gs of added weight for a total of 23gs.

So your running the 3 psi boost spring.... should just have to reduce weight therefore increasing rpm.... I think lol are your clickers on 3 not 1?

Set your clickers at 3 and put 5 psi spring in should be close to 7950 rpm let us know how you make out.... hope you checked the obvious loose charge tube hose clamps

No new snow but it's cold. Hopefully get out tomorrow or Sunday, supposed to a bit warmer. I did check everything and all is good. But I did notice while running it on the Stand that without any wastegate spring it is really crisp, responsive and no stumble. With any spring in the wastegate it has a stumble in the mid range, clears but feels boggy after that.
I did install a temporary boost gauge to look at that side of things next time out. I think it's a boost/fuel Issue at low elevation. Next time out I'm gonna run it without a spring.
Also didn't like how hot the clutching was getting so I purchased a balanced p85 from APP. Pick that up next week.

You mean the new 2019 with vent on clutch side doesn’t do chit?..... cut some vents into those side panels and get some air movement.... I did on mine I will post after a ride next weekend..... and cut that plastic shroud off the clutch cover.

Yep it's a 2019 and the clutches get hot. Its possible it does something I guess but not resolve the clutching issues. Same clutches as previous years. I was planning on doing a p85 upgrade at some point anyways. I got extra vents on the way.

I dunno what too hot to some, but the boondocker I helped install with my buddy ripped today. 8g all day long. The clutching was very good.
My 19 clutched 850 I could hold my hands on both the primary and the secondary, after beating on hills in the trees today. I would compare the heat to my clutched 174.

Venom you should try the sled first before you change too much.

Your 100% right...its early. And I'm sure it'll b fine once it's in its home. At this point I'm just trying to get a few break in miles logged. That's good news that your clutches were relatively warm. Thanks for the report!..
Could barely hold my hand on mine.
This was just my findings this far.
