Sled was running awesome till it wasn't! Got hauled off the hill. Making a pull then it just died. Just like u hit the kill switch. Shot start doesn't even try to start sled. Wont start with pull cord either. Checked everything and all looks fine. At a lost right now

Humm, How does it feel when you pull it over with the pull cord slowly? Any difference in the feel of the compression?

Found the issue. The shot system is shot, must be shorted. trevor Cox at max machining helped me out. He knew something was up when he hooked up the buds and the headlights didn't turn on. Unplugged the shot system and and good to go. Never would ha thought that would happen. at least be able to use the pull cord. Lesson learned!
Besides that the sled ran flawless. Running 5 lbs for now. Noticeable difference with that p 85 primary. Grabs the belt much harder than than the p drive.

Thats good to know. Thats the first time I heard of the shot doing that to a sled. Ive heard of them making them run horrible but not shut the sled off suddenly.
Thanks for the update.

Yep never would have thought. And 3/4 into a pull it just died. Unreal.

Spread the word. Could save someone a chopper ride. Unplug shot and ride!

Loving it so far. Dialed it in at 5lbs, taking to 7lbs in a couple weeks. Can't wait! Next thing on the upgrade list is the rear suspension. Anything vertical at all and its standing straight up. Gotta address that.

Sent you a PM, I have a baker setup that I don’t need anymore cuz I sold my Turboed ‘17. It worked amazingly well with my redline setup.

7lbs is the way to go. Big step in the right direction vs the 5lbs spring.

Ya the only thing is at 7 psi this 850 motor will be running at 127% of its maximum capacity..... everyone with this silber turbo should check the lower block off oil gallery plate for oil leaks..... there’s a rubber o ring that leaks from the turbo heat and starves turbo of oil leading to turbo failure..... replace this o ring with viton.... saw mine was dripping and replaced before any turbo damage it’s located on bottom of turbo remove 2 allen screws to view
