An update. It's been just over 5 months since my surgery. I still can't sleep on my left shoulder for any extended time. I have pretty much 95% range of motion back. No more pain just some discomfort when working it hard. But nothing like pre-surgery. Dr. Says most patients my age (40ish) will take 6-12 months to recover 100% from this procedure. It feels real good right now and I'm back to using it as normal. No babying it at all. Well worth the operation if anyone is thinking about it.

Glad to hear your recovery is goin well. My shoulder is better than it has been since way before my surgery. I picked up another dirtbike a couple weeks ago. just gotta find time to ride and try not to crash this time. lol It has been a year since my surgery and I have no issues with sleeping on it now but I did at first. It is still not as strong as my right shoulder but as long as I keep at the weights I will get there eventually. Keep workin on it and you will be as good as new. Best of luck on good continued recovery.
