I think we all knew this was gonna happen.
Have no trespassing and private property signs posted, but it never fails, we still get illiterates on sleds, bikes, quads, and horse's who think they can go where they please. Mind you it happens less with the signage

hmm just a thought, but this is all happening in Sask, not Alberta, different laws and rules apply, not sure how Alberta rules of trespassing will apply in Sask. again just my thoughts. in Alberta there is a hefty fine for trespassing,

oh there is, however its not always easy to catch them, and find out who it is... And the police are no help either. culprits are long gone by the time they respond. funny thing, about a month back someone pulls into a field across the road from my place. they started shooting off all sorts of fireworks. didn't bother me any, free show, dogs didn't like it much... but one of the neighbor's must have called it in. they had to have been out there a good hour and about a half hour after they split, 3 cop cruisers show up. too late again boys

Have no idea how this relates to saskatchewan laws of trespass, I personally would not have went in the area as it looked like it was fenced and gated, According to the posts of the sask posters no laws were broken other than the moron waving the shot gun. A message needs ti be sent to this guy. Can't see much happening, but it could have escalated rapidly.

Fawk are we gonna start this again? Yep we get it - The farmer was in the wrong at the land he confronted them on, maybe his land is posted and ultimately that was his beef, had nothing to do with the land where he was actually on video, so who cares if it looks fenced and gated and signed and has naked girls on it (or not) in the video because that land isn't what he was pissed about - one thing for sure - we're all sure he's regretting the decision now.

Do any of you guys think that maybe if someone had just stopped to ask this dude if they could ride on his land that we wouldn't be having this conversation? Whether its got a sign or not, regardless of which province you're in or what the law says, seems like some of you have forgotten that its a common courtesy to ASK.

Might as well give up snowmobiling and take up snowshoeing if you honestly plan on doing that. No one is going to ride 15 seconds, then take 4 minutes to talk to the resident, then ride 15 seconds before doing it again. Never going to happen.

What will continue to happen is sledders will trespass from property to property as a regular part of a ride. And that includes me and every person I've ever seen sled in SK.

What's with people on horses that think they can go anywhere just cause they are in a horse? When I still lived at home on the farm I was out on our old trike and seen a guy on a horse out in our field. I went and asked him if he was lost or was looking for something, and he gave me sh!t for riding my trike up to him when he was on his horse then proceeded to tell me how to mind my own business cause was doing nothing wrong he was just out riding his horse
