I think he should be charge with DUI, it dont matter if its an OHV or HV he was still under the influence. Last summer I lost a cousin due to a drunk persone on personel watercraft... so you tell me what should happen to this young iresponsable kid... or maybe wait till he gets on a loaded gun and kill someone.

Last week going to the city and some young girl got beside as i was passing her and she is texting I beeped the horn she never heard or looked over kept on texting at 110-115 km per hour while she was fairly close to the back end of another car.

must of had the music right cranked to, on cruise control, texting and maybe one earphone with her ipod going... and they wonder why there is accidents.

There's gotta be some huge fines to go along with the license suspensions. It has become so common place to arrive at an accident scene where at least one of the drivers is operating a vehicle while his/her license is under suspension. These Idiots don't stop driving. As for the Stupid ones, I followed a girl driving a Dodge Dakota on Sunday night who almost ran 2 separate on-coming vehicles off the road. Both on-coming vehicles had to dam near go into the ditch to avoid hitting the girl in the truck head on. When she finally stopped at a light, I stopped behind her, went up to her window to find her sitting side ways with her right leg over the center console and resting on the passengers seat. She's leaning on her left arm on the door arm rest with her cell phone to her ear, steering with her right hand and operating the gas and brake with her left foot. When I asked her what the he!! she was thinking when she almost ran the 2 vehicles off the road, her reply was...."I'm sorry, I was texting"! I had this girl in tears by the time I was done giving her $hit! The penalties for the STUPID and the DRUNKS have to be stepped up....a lot!

I would like to tell you a little story about a little town i grew up in called Camrose. Back in the late 70's ,when it still was a town, snowmobileing was aloud in the city limits. There was rules but generally access was available thru out the town. On any given day you would see many machines going on the river that goes thru our town and it seemed like everyone had a machine and enjoyed there local use. At the same time there was a underground war developing between the local cross country ski club, who seemed to think then and still do ,that god put trails on this earth for only there devine use!!! And thats all i will say about this cross country club because i could rant over that for hours!!! Well needless to say all it took was a few bad accidents involveing high speeds and gross impairment. By only a few individuals, and it was all the fuel that the nay sayers needed to get snowmobileing banned on city property for ever! The old saying one bad apple can spoil the bunch holds true today. Nay sayers and tree hugers are rallying to kill our beloved sport. And the liability issue is aiding them in there quest to for ever ban us from public property use. Please drink responcibley and use utmost respect for our public lands because in the end it may only take one individual to get a montain closed or a farmer to fence his once accessable property. Thank you

And guess who built them trails in Camrose way back then that the ski club now calls their own... It was the snowmobile club at the time!

Operating a motor vehicle when drunk wether on or off road same law. you kill someone off road, drunk they are just as dead as if you hit them on the highway......no difference in my mind...When you lose your license, you are not allowed to operate any motor vehicle off your own private property, not even a lawn tractor......and so it should be...

Wow this is going to make mowing the lawn this summer a real drag :) Sure hope I do not hit a check stop at the corner of spruce tree and flower garden. Maybe I can get the wife to drive ???

You'd have to be pretty hammered to draw the attention of the cops while working on your tractor in the field....
