Screw the X. Anyone get their 2012 Freeride yet?

As the title says. Still waiting for the call. I was hoping it would be this week. I know they had a couple sitting on the floor at riverside on Monday.

I was torn but went with lighter X pack for $2K less

I didnt need adjustable shocks or wider boards or 30lbs,, the bracing sounds nice but I can doo that,, but man I was tempted

why did you go freeride? Im short and light lol so 30lbs is like 15hp haha

I felt the same way when I got mine. turns out i went for lighter and figured I would do the shocks and bracing myself, but guess what havnt done either yet!

When I compared pricing the x was 500 less not 2000. It was a no brainer for the extra 30 lbs in bracing and suspension. All my riding so far could use the better suspension and bracing. Plus the fact that everyone and their dog has an X. Not many freerides out there.

Picked up my x from the dealer today and there was a freeride 146 on the showroom floor

Which dealer? I am going in there with the cheque tomorrow and ask where it is. It will be easy enough to pickup next week if I have to, but getting the cheque next week will be a pita compared to tomorrow.

Heard from a reliable source today that a truck load of new Doos was stolen in Saskatchewan. They were X's and probably can't be replaced any time soon!

How's that for a load of bad news.......

well MSRP is $1450 differance and I was able to save $500 on X but they wanted MSRP on Freeride so thats the $2K I speak of.
here it is below from ski doo.ca ,, so how did you get only $500???? maybve you got sold son lol, ahh only $500 go for it haha not knocking the freeride its sweet and there are way less out there for sure.

154's and 146's FR's arrived Thursday, still waiting on a few E/S FR's,and a few more X's and Tundra's though.

As for the stolen sleds, WTF are they going to do with them ? They will not run unless a dealer codes the DESS keys, all those thieves have is paperweights,just proves how stupid criminals are.

You are right. I went onto the site and do a comparable build and came up with the same numbers. I was positive when looking at the numbers the x wasnt that far off. Either way I am still glad I got the freeride.

AND.......went into the dealer today to pay for it. Sled arrived and will be put together this week. Should have it in a few days.
