I hope a little snow storm wont keep people away from the meeting at the Dovercourt Hall. The turn out last year at the Legislative Building in Edmonton was an embarrassment to our cause. I'm hoping not everyone will get in. Thats what we need.

I’m close and will go no matter what but I wonder if someone should talk to Nixon’s people about a possible re-schedule? I will keep encouraging everyone in the area to attend and I I’ll plan on going unless I get an email from Nixon’s people or I see something posted here

at this time the weather may be the limiting factor. can you give us an idea of weather conditions in your area, around 5 or so? if you can

Just came through rocky, currently snow has let up and visibility not terrible but wind is blowing and hwys are very very slippery. I am hoping for a good turnout but at the same time it really isn’t very safe to travel at the moment.

Wholly crap, the place is rocking, wish we had this crowd at Edmonton rally.

Our friend Cal and Gait with off road Alberta are here, and my Nordegg pals.

The gathering is underway.

Imdoo'n, where you to. Ha.

You should be easy to spot in your 7 foot 2" body. LOL

One 4@!! of a good turn out,,, BIG HELMITS OFF to Cal, Gairit with Off Hyw, and MLA of NCP Jayson.

I asked a question at the meeting along with many others.

The registration fee we've paid to date is "around" $54 million,,," and the smallest % of that has come back to us for trail maintenance. In the pit-ance of only $2 ish million,,, the rest was used in government general revenue.

So we got took,,, even if we offer up more in registration to the government with no clear direction or answers,,, it to would most likely disappear as well.

They showed a picture from the air of a wide trial,,, my asking on that was that none of us OHV folks like doing this,,, can't we get funding for trail maintenance and building so "ALL USER GROUPS" can Rep the rewards of having a awesome trail to ride on.

ALL of us want to be responsible and take pride in our sport,,, we're out there doing our thing because we like our Alberta...

The majority of us promote our sport and actives, yes things need changing, but we don't need another park when the Big Horn is all ready like a park.

Big Thanks to brother Imdoo'n, and many others on the S&M forum.

It's a major under taking, and if the idea of rally pops up,,, it might be wize to jump on board.

EVERYONE that is.

Walking, hiking, mountain biking, Horse folks, snowmobiling, OHV, and everything beyond that.

The MLA for this area said this. If the area becomes a wild land park,,, then even with the next government, it's harder to back track.

The Castle Area is a done deal, sad but true.
Once this North Saskatchewan thing is sorted, then "most likely" the Gap in BC is next.

We are all sitting in limbo,,, but rest assure that the Big Horn Area is on the table at the GOA level,,, let's see where it stands for now.

If you have access to the forums that ask the GOA to allow more funding and better trails in our back yard,,, then let's get at it.

Ontario, Quebec and many USA states have awesome trail networks,,, why can't we have the same thing here in our Province.

Fingers crossed as the clock is ticking.

Thanks everyone for making the trip through thecrap weather and roads.
Indeed we did have a full house. I poked my head out of the hall just beforewe started; Hwy22 was head lights as faras you could see both ways and heard folks were walking up to a mile to thehall.
A shout out to the RCMP for helping with trafficcontrol and keeping everyone safe.
AOHVA should be posting the video of the event ina couple of days.
Afterwards talking to folks, it was very apparentthe high level of experience and knowledge that was present in that room. It’s too bad the government chooses to ignoreit.
Oh and all you government guys in Edmontontrolling this site…You’re welcome… for us presenting material that you shouldhave been there presenting. Trustcontinues the free fall.

seems the GOA doesn't want to answer any questions, likely because there may be a revolt! sledders/ quadders today, hunters campers and other outdoor activities tomorrow.

Yes, and the fish band person at the meeting brought this up to.

It's unforchanet that the country our parents came to settle and fought for has turned into a nanny pannzy state (In my opinion only) where free debate is suppose to work from Left, Right, and Center. (This my friends is what's in question.)

ALL of US user groups where there last night in hopes to hear from our Government that are suppose to share thier vision and plan with us,,, but once again this GOA turned a blind eye to those they are to represent.

Oh well, it's their call, between the forced farm worker act, Cattle and area plan, this Big Horn Area thing with out consultation with any of the interested parties shows that they are not here for our best at stake.

Gutless so to speak since this is my post "AND" in my opinion.

I did not vote these clowns in, nor will or would I ever choose a free spending out of control Chit Show Clowns like this.

I'm by far the longest person away from Government since our family believes in the democratic process of society,,, but rest assure on election day that my X will be anything but PDN,,, this is spelt correct. I'll let our brothers and sisters pick out the acronym for this since I have trust that WE are ALL smart and wize people.

This my friends is push back from the center.

Proud to be Albertan,,, and more so Canadian made Don
