The server has had no hiccups at all. I am finding a bad hop that is causing some issues. Im looking into. I need a few more of these to see if others have this issue. The new server has been up for 29 days without any downtime and the loads on the server are basically nothing. We have probes on the server that check everything every minute for any issues. I will check a few functions.

If you know how to go into the dos command prompt please do a tracert snowandmud.com and paste it here or email to me at ron@snowandmud.com

Thanks.

Thanks Ron, you're the man but please don't listen to Bogger and his comments about the like button.....Some os us lesser posts would like it back for a test day....

How do you explain your timeouts...

Its definitely slower the past couple days, especially when you search for 'new' posts and such. Sometime when you post it seems to hang up...

We are looking at the new VBSEO that was upgraded on Friday night, possibly may cause some issues as well. Longhorns Hop#5 is not real good either.

I may turn the VBSEO off for a day and see if that is causing the issues as well. The server is really only operating at about 8% of its capacity with 1300 people online. The 4 SAS (15000 RPM) Drives really speed up data transfer. SAS is alot faster than SATA (7200 RPM). And we are using 3/4 of the RAM available. Bottlenecks can be fun to figure out.:d

Im am no longer a Vbulletin wiz...(used to be) but I think your issue lies there, I would say thats when I started to notice it...

When you did the server switch, it ROCKED here, super fast...not now, I would say we have lost 30-50%

I have VBSEO online now looking at the software, I upgraded to VBSEO 3.6.0 RC1. I upgraded on Saturday evening. There was some blank screens then. :hmm:

Very strange...its definitely new, so I would say the upgrade is the culprit, but where do you start looking lol

Any other forums reporting a bug from the upgrade?
