It is getting really bad and I agree, I would tell people to pipe down anytime, I don't care who it is. I'm 20 and everyone just judges you when they see you, because there are so many stupid kids in alberta because of the patch (no disrespect to anyone in it, but it brings a lot of trash people here). There is no reason for language like that in a family place. If it's a bar it's a little different, but should still watch it. I know I am bad about swearing, but I try to watch it, and don't say it every second word and get into sexual things etc if kids are around.

Maybe it's because of my size that most people don't want to start a confrontation, but I still won't put up with any crap because there is a bunch of them. Or maybe it's because people see me toss a 200lb tire onto my sled deck without a sweat that they don't talk back :d

Here's my take on things, there's a place and time for everything, from the sounds of it this kind of talk is best left for the guys out in the garage, at work , on the hill ,that kind of stuff. When your in a family restaurant it's time to act a little more mature and be respectful and courteous to others. I spent 20 yrs in the military in an eviornment where swearing and foul language was the normal and at work that was fine, but when I'm at home I try extremely hard to be careful of the words I choose especially when the youngsters are around. It's not that they aren't going to hear it eventually, but they need to learn and understand that it's not the norm to talk like that.
As for not saying anything at the time, I wouldn't have worried about the being out numbered issue in a public place, chances are had you gotten up and said something the rest of the patrons and staff would most likely have applauded your courage and been right behind you, and the rude sledders may have told you to f__k off and mind your own business, but at the same time they might have been completely embarrassed about the whole situation.
Next time make a stand, whether right or wrong stand up for what you beleive in!!

this is embarassing,,, man up and say something you really think you will get jumped by 7 on 2 at breakfast come on.... no need for treating waitreses like that or swearing excessivaley out loud... but the people with kids there could use the moment as a lesson... ya see son that fawktard in the corner with the skull hat talking crap,, he has no friends he is insecure and that is no way to represent yourself or our family it is very rude right son.....

p.s. you all wish you could slay some 20 year old goodies,,,, would ya rather ride a 1976 john deer or a 2010 Nytro run n 18lbs boost.... pretty simple to me:d

This thread is getting a little hate filled....WTF??????:nono:

I see more tears than hate???? it bugs me when people speak after the real oppurtunity,,, like I am going to see this trailer and pull theese people over and say do u remeber 2 weeks ago in Revy when you swore at the restaurant serious wtf? if someone came to me 2 weeks later it would probably piss me off more and I would feel stalked by you and if I knew you were bad mouth n my rig on the net I think I might need to say something to you..... and if my rig ever was vanadalized you best be deleting your words on the net because then it would be personal and it would need to be resolved... and its not whos bigger but who is CRAZIER!!!! just rember that

now all this is avoided if we respect the people around us.....:p

I guess I have no comment:d Cheers to Catmando for his efforts:beer: Sorry if I offended anyone  But if you read my posts before they were removed you may have sensed I have no patience for disrespectful people or those who feel it's okay to be disrespectful to others.

ITS simply a generation..as they get older theyl look at the younger generation coming up behind them and say the same as we do now.

simply put generation after generation progressivly gets worse and worse in the simple day to day interactions with people around them. at least accourding to those with a scence of respect

at work the younger fellas who start with us have poor work ethics. miss days and do not call in to tell anyone. talk back to journeyman when asked to do things. for the most parts they get away with it simply because thats typical for todays age. 10 years ago yould be fired on the spot for lippin off anyone at work.

we dont expect much from new workers these days, if they want to learn...great. if not they pretty much just fill a void and waste time cause i for one will not teach those who simply think they are better.

thats just one aspect of how the next generation is changeing. theres many more

and before anyone throws out the " not all young are disrespectfull "....blah blah blah i really dont want to hear it. if your best argument is to not paint all with the same brush, youl have to do better then that.

i think im done with this thread anyway...hehehe. everyones said what was needed to be said from my agreeable point of view. ( flame away ) im all out of pop corn.. :)

The exact same can be said for the old farts who think just because they are older they can be lazy or that the younger guy should do more of the labour just because of age. Anyone who judges someone based on age doesn't have a clue. Every generation has the lazy and also has their hard workers. Tell me this, 20 years ago how many people in their early 20's bought houses compared to now? Point proven. To buy a house at 20 with 100% of your earned money, you have to be someone who works hard. Nuff said.

it really isn't that big of a deal to buy your own house at twenty nowadays. 20 years ago the bank actually would only give you money when they were sure you could pay it back.

20 years ago those older guys would shame you into doing the work, or making you quit by calling you stupid, lazy, worthless, and every other thing you can think of. now you can't say anything like that to an employee or co-worker. it's part of the problem with the world today....

Well I mean someone who can buy it, and actually keep it and not loose it to the bank in a few years :p

You can't say that? I guess you haven't been on to many construction sites LOL! Anything and everything is still said. I agree to a point, I will not put up with a boss that yells and swares at you all day, but saying a comment shouldn't be a big deal.
