ruby falls/cadomin

just wondering if anyone has been out in the Cadomin area recently & what the snow depth is like.....wanting to take the family in to ruby falls & have lunch at the falls....quads & SxS....wanting to stage at the top of the divide & ride down the cardinal river road & into the lower ruby trail.....just wondering on snow depth

Went fishing with a friend from Edson yesterday and he was up at Cadomin recently and was not enough snow for anything even up high, we were going to go up sledding cancelled it.

didn't think there would be much snow...i was snowboarding in jasper a couple of weeks ago & they didn't have much either....just thought id ask....dont want to get up past the Whitehorse campground with a 30' trailer & find out i have to navigate back down in revere

In about 1999 I started heading that way on Feb 15 every year. We'd usually make it just about to the top of the divide and we'd get stuck in that huge snow drift.
Then a couple years went by and couldn't get past Whitehorse campground there was so much snow. From 2010-2014 I don't think there was a year where you could get up that road before May. It constantly changes.

That's only if you are taking a camper or anything other than a Jeep/sxs etc.
About 4 years ago I smothed the edges of the washout so I could get by without having to cross the creek at all. I've done it in a full size truck but it was a bit sketchy.
I wasn't out there last summer but I bet it's decent now.
Keeps everybody happy that doesn't want us crossing the streams any more than we have to.
