He will always have to partner with standard service providers you can’t make a Satalite call inside a building or a vehicle

I am/was in the process of switching cellphones to telus from rogers, and I got this in my email today. A quick background on this. I talked with a telus representative from some other country who could barely put together three English words that made any sense. This was Aug 30. I told her I want this contract to start Sept 12 because that is when my son is back from work so we could switch his phone too. She told me that was ok and the Sim cards are not going to be mailed out until sept 4 and probably won't get there until Sept 11. Prefect! Well telus has decided to bill me from the moment they talked with me...Aug 30. Also the total for all 3 phones was going to be $210...total all in. Well this is the bill I got today
well, another update...the bill is now $681.00. I've tried many times on their web site and tried calling. It got me no where. Last night I got through to a person( bad English) explained the problem. He wanted me to confirm the last 4 digits of my Drivers licence...I never gave Telus my drivers licence number. I asked "HOW did Telus get my D.L. no#?" His response was " So we can identify who we are talking to". Again I asked HOW they got it and how can you identify something you do not have? same response. So I gave him the last 4 digits, he said that wasn't it, lol. They have something different. After more than 45 minutes on the phone we found out that the original non English person I spoke with activated my account for me, How thoughtful! He is suppose to be getting this cancelled or sorted out. He called back today and wanted to help me get my cell phones switched over to Telus. What a friggen joke!

Same bs as trying to cancel Sirius, Netflix etc. Some Hindu on the other end saying they don't have the power to cancel if you can understand the no English thing.

These bs Corporations using 3rd world countries with barely understandable slave laborer's manning the phones need to see a big influx of people say bye bye to there bs. Had the same issue with Telus and i was there over 20+ years and they could only give me 20$ off my bill fawk that. Did it myself and cut my bill in half now that's more reasonable, paying for chit i barely used or could not ever use in a month.

My company phone is a telus, my personal phone is Bell, Bell has better service in the field, sometimes I have to use my personal phone to call out.

I have three Bell phones with 220g shared between my wife and my daughter with unlimited long distance in Canada for under 200/mth.

This will never go away, got another notice/email reminder to pay my bill. This time it didn't say how much it was.
