Would like to go for a ride this weekend somewhere close to Edmonton.Any body know if the Seba beach trail system is open or if the Stergon river is frozen or I guess Ministic is open might give that a try. Is the ice safe on the lakes?

Im heading out somewhere with summit to see if the sled is working ok, I hear Barrhead's trails are good they have good snow for this time of the year.

If your on any trail systems please have your ASA trail pass with you. There seems to be alot of riders on the systems without ASA trail passes. That what pays for grooming, signage, maintence, insurance and a whole bunch of other stuff. See the ASA site in the links section

Heading to Smokey Saturday morning. Riding from my Dad's place on the edge of town. Trail is right out back. Likely head North East for there. Look for a Balck Crossfire 600, Black Rev 800 or yellow MXZ 700 and a custom orange ZR 800 136".

Last year we foud a few pipelines off the trail that had really decent play snow. Hoping for the same this year.

Anyone been riding locally (within a couple hours of Edmonton) over the Christmas break? I have an urgent need to put some more miles on my new XP but not sure where to head. East of the City there is enough snow to ride the fields but that is still a little skinny to my liking. Anyone have any info on areas north???

Rode at CALLING LAKE last sunday, there was about 2 feet of snow with lots of lines not touched yet. 60 miles and low on fuel and daylight so called it a day,but still lots of cutlines left untouched.

My buddy drives the groomer in Cold Lake and he says there is lots of snow his way.
