Rode yesterday and today. Huge difference in the snow after yesterday’s rain from noon to 1. Still good snow. Yesterday probed 130. Today probed 115. Allot easier to get around today as it wasn’t heavy. But some spots today you could hardly get a ski in as the crust was so bad. Trees were good. But need more snow to fill the spikers in. . This was today after the rain
That's a firm great base in the making.

Dear RSC Members,

This past Tuesday Revelstoke awoke to a glorious blanket of snow in the valley bottom. As with any first snowfall for the season there are feelings of anticipation for the season to come, from the first crack of the throttle up the trail, the warmth of the fire in the cabins, overhead powder turns and back to drifting through the trees. Despite the early season shallow snowpack, we have had quite a considerable number of riders out exploring already, from near and far.

Here at the Club we have been working around the clock (some of us seven days a week!) and we are thankful for their efforts. We have some fancy new timber drop toilets at Boulder and Frisby, no more port-a potties for the riders! We also have a significant parking lot expansion at Boulder to make it easier for the 'noon crews' to find a place to unload.

The Club has also extended our early bird season discount to January 1st this season to allow a smoother transition into the new pass system. We wish to thank you for your patience in this time, we've had many members keen to get their passes early and we're excited to announce that our online sales are now available for our out of town members to purchase at:

https://revelstokesnowmobileclub.maxgalaxycanada.net/Home.aspx

Instructions for purchasing your membership online is attached.

Memberships are now available for sale from our Welcome Centre located in the Boulder parking lot between the hours of 10 AM to 5 PM. As mentioned in our fall newsletter they will not be available for sale at our corporate sponsors in town.

Our season kickoff party will be November 22nd at the Boulder Welcome Centre from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM with snacks and non alcoholic drinks provided. We will have an avalanche airbag activity for those that want to participate. Bring along your airbag and do a deployment check, our friends at Avalanche Canada can show you how to repack your bag, and Rough Country Marine will be offering a 50% discount refills for those involved.

Until then, keep doing your snow dance and we look forward to seeing you!

Parking at Boulder was at 3km. Anywhere around the Kirkup split.
Some guys went farther up and some rode from the bottom. I think the bottom snow has melted though.
