Can anyone tell me is there another way out from the cabin on Keystone, other than back across the shovel out? I thought I heard at one time once the Caribou closures are off, that you can go out a different trail.

Parking at boulder at just past the junction at 3. Just past the groomer. the larger trailers can park at the small pit just to the left of the groomer. There were still a couple of gravel trucks hauling today. We had a radio. So no problem. Too much snow yet to cross the bridge on the Kirkup. Minimum bare spots going up The road. No bad creek crossings yet, heading into turtle from the front side. Don’t know about the backway.
Going by to try keystone tomorrow. Will post after.

Have guys been able to get across the bridge to park at 4km yet?

We drove down Friday night, with intentions of camping up on the hill. Parked at the gravel pit just past the 3KM junction up bezanson. Had a 5500 top-kick with wide duallies and a 2 place trailer so could not go up around the corner from there as still too much snow on a slope. Gave it a try in the dark but was not worth the risk so decided to ride from the gravel pit. Large bare spots up until about 6km mark, that is where guys with decks were making it to pretty well the snow line. Ride Boulder and had a great day going past Turbo with sun shining all day. We went down kirkup to the trucks and road was just as bare from about the 5km mark. (See pictures). Guys had pushed past the bridge and parked up at 5kmish, so we relocated camp to the 4km mark up Kirkup. Still had a decent amount of gravel to ride Sunday, went front way into Turtle, creek crossings could be bad in a week's time but still do-able. Wore out skis and skags on the way down, but all in all snow conditions were great for second weekend of May.

I'm just curious how high up guys are driving now

Well Buddy's went for a look at eagles pass, got to 20 km and said it was tough go, few mud slides over road sort of thing too

parked at 8km on the kirkup. that was 5days ago though.

You'd hate to get caught on the wrong side of one of those slides, can't remember if it was late last season or early this season but that happened to a group. You can basically get to 24km with the trucks on eagles then it's through the shale and into the trees, if you wanted to ride in eagles you'd be better off going in from revy if Turtle access was still do-able. I suppose you are soon driving past the turnoff though if you're already at 8km

Was able to drive up 6k at Sale Friday and ride to solid snow with minimal dirt Id think a lot has melted since then though...has been a hot spring
