lol love how the track is already missing chunks of paddles... its definitely building track speed.

That sled likely has 7 tooth drivers. You have to Notch the paddles to clear the tunnel. There isn't a good full side shot but it looks like the attack angle is shallower than a regular G4.

You bet. All G4's come stock with 6 tooth drivers. For what it's worth 3.5" Pitch 6 tooth Drivers are the same outside diameter as 3.0" Pitch 7 tooth driver- ~6.6"

Thats a doo track in the pic. How much bigger is 7t 3.5” drivers in diameter? I can’t see the reason for going to that driver when the track has to be shaved.

Attack angle can be compensated with the adjustable limiter strap.

Cause there is so much horse power with that kit it spins the stock drivers on the shaft.

Yup it's the stock track. Theoretically turning a track around a larger circumference SHOULD lead to less rolling resistance. I would think the owner sees 3 positives to changing the drivers- rolling resistance, Attack angle and taller gearing for the turbo application. Each to their own I guess.

7 Tooth 3.5" Pitch Drivers
7 x 3.5= 24.5" Circumference
24.5/ 3.14= 7.8" Diameter

I suspect ypu are correct. I know there was some problems at the start with 6t drivers spinning on those tracks. 7t would definitely help the package and not run things crazy tights.

When you drop 30k on a sled I don’t think anyone cares about a $800 track...and you’re absolutely right it builds track speed

Is that all the track is new from doo? Every track I look at is at least $2000

Its about 2g for a doo track.
I thought so - track speed is only good if your doing grass drags - a mountain sled needs to be setup like a tractor not a race sled - ground speed is what matters - track speed at 120km/hr is no good if your ground speed is 2km/hr - this is my beliefs
