Is that your sled? When you drop 30k on a sled I don’t think anyone cares about a $800 track...and you’re absolutely right it builds track speed
I may have drooled on it a little.

I thought so - track speed is only good if your doing grass drags - a mountain sled needs to be setup like a tractor not a race sled - ground speed is what matters - track speed at 120km/hr is no good if your ground speed is 2km/hr - this is my beliefs
That can be fixed - powderfreaks head - gear it down to a 2.64 with a Tki belt drive - 10" big wheel kit - then watch what happensYou are not wrong, depends on what the sled is built for, no point in being geared for 80mph if the sled will not build it in the trees.
Nothing worse than getting on a turbo sled, and the bottom end feels like the throttle cable is an elastic band. So called turbo heads are very bad for that.
Lol
2.64 on a turbo...ya I’ll watch what happens! Make your turbo perform like a stocker!! Pulling the gearing out of a turbo is the quickest way I have ever seen to make sure she doesn’t pull. Dave obviously knows this, that’s one factor active in his driver change.
Beautiful sled! Looks like it should rip

You my freind are not running the rite "so called turbo head".
Im not running anything actually. Just what I rode.
Whats the right pump gas turbo head??
well i can say that theres hundreds of sleds that come out of the same shop mine comes out of with the same head modification as i have, and NOT 1 has this so called squishy phenomenon you speak of. In fact the lag/burble/whatever you want to call it is more predominant in the motors without the head done. But im no expert.
It doesn't matter what shop it is, im not here to endorse one shop over another. Im just simply saying that it does in fact help which is why alot of the big reputable players are doing it. Boondocker for instance is a great example of this with their specifically designed "idaho whatever its name is" head. same thing.
Im assuming you have some sort of evidence of yours claims? That is incorrect. The stupid “Idaho” head and the “give me” head were a band aid fix for crappy running setups. Bd fkd up and charged customers to fix there own f up. Put that in yer pipe and smoke it. Haha
This was an old Kanedog Bureau of Investigation(KBI) case. It was many investigations ago. You missed it.Im assuming you have some sort of evidence of yours claims?
