I do have that Sim and didn't find it to be very helpful for the heli.

Helicopters are just a bunch of rapidly moving & rotating parts that are so ugly gravity rejects them.

I have a Blade CP Pro heli that I now have about 5 hours on. Haven't even been able to hover the biotch for more than 30 seconds yet. Have rebuilt the thing prolly 10 times already  bloody hard to fly this thing. Think I'll dig it out this afternoon and crash it a few times

ya thats when I sold my heli,, so touchy and kinda lame..

but the 1/10th cars and trucks are fun,, get n air or drift n corners,, they be fun after dinner sitting by the camper at outwest....

I have RealFlight 3.5 ( 3 years?) and it's pretty realistic. Funny how I can 3D the heck outta the simulated planes, but when it comes to doing it for real I get chicken. LOL.

I fly RC planes...all electric. From 36" to 63" wingspan. Got a couple that will do over 90 real MPH. Funny that the "enviro-friendly" electric planes make the best explosions and fire when they crash....lipo batteries. Hahaha.

hahahah so true these batteries are dangerous,, fricking nerds at the hobby store instill fear in you about burning your house down and swelling and exploding lol,,

I clipped a concrete piller in a parkade and my battery was swollen my $100 facking battery lol so I did not want to risk burn the house down so we blew it up:d I will look for the vid

 THIS JUST IN

Thanks to this thread my interest got peaked and I dug out my heli this afternoon which my son and I had just rebuilt some time ago. Fired it up and played around with it for about 10 minutes trying for a stable hover and BLAM...smoked the ground and cut the tail boom off with the main rotor blades and sheared the tail rotor off :( I'm fuggin' done with this thing.

for sale with a ton of parts.

Bought a Savage 25 when they first came out. Didnt stay stock long. Put a 3 speed transmission in it, upgraded radio, and a axial 32 engine. Things goes like a raped ape, But I hardly ever use it anymore. Thinking of selling it.

Ya I was using the trainer but once your a couple feet off the ground it don't matter cause she's comin' down hard and fast. The things so touchy its real easy to overcompensate and get'er into a wicked speed wobble. You just wanna RUN once that happens

Yes I have a HPI Baja 5B SS, it is very fun, very reliable, not nearly as finicky as nitro is. I have a nitro HPI savage 25 with an OS .30 on it & my Baja will kick it's butt. Only problem with it, is if you run it on pavement with the knobby tires, they will wear out very quickly.

I've got a modded revo 3.3, damn if I haven't rebuilt that thing less then 30 times.

I know where every screw goes on those things, and soon as I hit something (lol) I know which parts I'll be needing.

I dont think anything on it is stock? Even the base frame haha.

And a 1/16 lipo e-revo. That thing goes like snot. To bad the batterys charge's sucks.
