I hooked on a Bobcat A300 that was in a friends tri-axle dump trailer with my dually, that was heavy I am here to tell you. It was a bumper pull trailer and it sucked ass

Maybe ill try that some time. Or maybe just a bigger truck lol
Turning it around will make a huge difference. The weight distribution will think you should down size in trucks.
When I was doing snow removal, and had a snow bucket on, I had to front load and HATED it. With a regular smooth bucket and backed on, was like it wasn't there!!
Backing on, you don't have to go as far forward and still have decent tongue weight. That the trailer doesn't walk on you.

Kubota engine is in rear, ideally I think you want have bulk of mass between first and second axle on a bumper pull, goose neck further forward as you are offloading more to truck. That is a big machine for a 1 ton bumper though for sure.

Loading skid steer with bucket facing rearward does a couple things. Safer to load since the weight of the motor is in the back and it won't want to flip over. Also if if have an issue going up ramps it's easier to go forward to get off quickly. I had a cat 289 and first time loading I didn't put the stabilizing legs down on the back of the dump trailer or chalk the wheels. Skid steer was so heavy it lifted the ass end of the truck off the ground and the truck and trailer started rolling down hill. Pushed forward on the Sticks and got off in a hurry. I like a little tounge heavy when loading, don't likey trailer unweighting the truck when it hits Heaves in the road. I have my trailers marked after finding the sweet spot.

Ya i wasnt looking for a pet cat. Kitty just won me over.

It would be dead forsure by now, but even if it made it. Eating mice and sleeping outside at -40 is < eating shredded turkey and bombing around in the dodge.
