Nice niner. I grew up around mills and bandsaws. Nothing like the smell of a fresh cut piece of lumber.

I stacked lumber for a summer for a guy that had a portable mill. It wasn’t a bandsaw it had blades. I liked that type of work

I’m really not sure what kind of stick it is. When we bought the mill he threw in a pile of sticks. I’m thinking it’s pine also but not sure. It’s just a hobby saw.

That’s a great little mill and some good size timber to play with. You will cut up some awesome cants or slabs for some nice rustic projects.
I’m going to go with white pine.
