Another trip to Hay River in the books.
Saw 3 blackies going up, 4 coming home.
The falls were an awesome site as usual.
According to the locals, the lake is still mostly ice, some visible from shore.

Nice pictures. The picture of the ice on Great Slave Lake reminds me of many, many years ago. My wife and I were getting a barge ready with a portable pool on it to go down river and stop at 4 communities and teach swimming lessons. Had a buddy up there with a boat and skis. Yes, I went out to the ice water skiing and I was never so cold from water in my life.
