Ohh I dont miss those days, however I feel you are far more efficient than we were. Tieing rebar is still one of my least favorite things to do.

Yessir, storm went south east of us.. just. Lightning and hail about 2km away. Was quite the light show for a bit.

When work is going on however phones stay in the tool crib, unless something urgent is going on.

Another trip to Hay River in the books.
Saw 3 blackies going up, 4 coming home.
The falls were an awesome site as usual.
According to the locals, the lake is still mostly ice, some visible from shore.

Thanks for sharing those pics,I lived there for 4 years in the 80s and haven't been there since 1990,nice to see some pics from up there, probably hasn't changed much

I figured that way the Hay River falls, pretty awesome sight, havent been up there since 07 but would like to make a trip up there again one of these years.

Nice pictures. The picture of the ice on Great Slave Lake reminds me of many, many years ago. My wife and I were getting a barge ready with a portable pool on it to go down river and stop at 4 communities and teach swimming lessons. Had a buddy up there with a boat and skis. Yes, I went out to the ice water skiing and I was never so cold from water in my life. Damn, it was chilly but I didn't fall and I only did it once.
