I think thats supposed to be laid down. lol
Typically yes, but to my knowledge there is not a bin hauling trailer big enough to haul that unit horizontal.

Most trailers max out at a 21' 6 ring bin which is around 8000bu, I have heard of the odd trailer capable of handling a 24' 6 ring which would be around 10,000bu.

Be interesting to know if a permit was pulled for that move haha

A small micro burst and that would be laid down what about power lines may be just a short move
Yes you arent going under any power lines with that. They would have to be cut and reattached. Big hassle. I remember back in the day we would put an angled 2x4 on the roof to go under lines as line would ride up the board and pop over the top when passing underneath

Ha ha ...that reminds me of a situation a few years back. There was a farmer moving a grain dryer and had a board on top to deflect the power lines. It didn't work as good as he thought and ended up blowing out a couple of his tractor tires and was sitting on the road waiting for the tire repair guy to show up. I happened to come along minutes before the power company rep showed up. The power rep had VERY Strong words for this farmer..."your lucky to be alive , etc. Gave him a real tongue lashing. When the guy finished his minute long rant, the farmer looked at him...paused for a few seconds, tapped the side of his head and says real loud "WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU. MY EARS ARE STILL RINGING FROM WHEN THE TIRES BLEW OUT"....then he turned to me with a smile on his face. I knew he could hear, because him and I were having a discussion just fine before the power guy showed up.

I thought the power co rep was going to have a stroke. He was already angry and after that comment, he was literally about to blow a gasket.

I was trying not to laugh but I couldn't help it ....said to my farmer friend..."I better go....this is not going to end well".
I got in my truck and drove off.

Nothing like walking around in a puddle of highly conductive calcium chloride when a powerline is down.

Huckleberries are the best, but late this year around Revy. I usually pick July 1 but they are just ripening now because of the cold weather and rain
