Ram Falls

Hey me and some buddies were think bout heading out for maylong and we were wondering, have any of you ridin the ram falls area and if so whats it like, is there lots of random camping around there and what are the trails like around there hilly,muddy,etc. Any info would be appreciated and what is the best way to get there? thanks

Has random camping.
Good quad riding.

Some areas will be closed for quading,
Onion lake used to be until July 1

Check with SRD web site for maps and closures.

Oh, ok thanx for the notice, I think if its closed we will be heading to cadomin. Thanks again for the heads up. The cadomin area isn't closed until july also is it?

it may be a lot easier and you will get the correct info if you phone forestry and ask. they have a web site with all the info on there. they like to fine those that enter provincial parks, closed area's and for riding on high grade roads. don't be one of the clowns who reports on here about getting fined for riding in a closed area.

Contact forestry for crying out loud.

No closure in Cadomin area, we are going there ourselves, by the green bridge.
Hummingbird is closed until July 1st. We were there a few years ago, it is a very rocky trail and when we were there very dusty. Good for a weekend, but we did not do a lot of exploring since there are not a lot of other trails out there. You have to stay on the main trail. It is a very beautiful area, so go do it once at least and have fun.
