Sled looks great. Hope you have a winning race season. Would be good to have race thread to follow on here. Not on Facebook to follow you there.

I always thought a 3" cut down to 2 1/4" or a 2 1/2" would work good for this as you would have super stiff paddles.

Typical albertain.... White jacked up Ford eh.

besides the decals just a full length flap to pass tech?

I think you need a tether too?

Same idea as the old challenger lite tracks.....if you cut a 2.5" to a 2.25 and then screw some hex head sheet metal screws into the paddles, that will help with the hard pack / ice traction on the ski runs (if they allow it in tech). Used to run 2 screws in each paddle, old BCSF trick, but the guys in the RMSHA still do it.

Hey Maxwell
can you bring some of us up to speed
what kind of racing are you doing?
where do these races take place?
you need a new tread "MAXWELL RACING" so we can follow your progress
(also for us old farts to see how the young are doing today). Haha
gone are the fast days of 340 & 440 free air racers. Antiques now.

Good luck you have TEAM S&M supporting you. Haha
MAXWELL racing will have a fan club ....maybe

my thoughts aswell. i had pretty much the absolute worst sled for that competition and came in 4th in all my classes and the 3 guys that always beat me had freerides haha...so well see.
sounds liked you raced against doo Backus's not the poo Backus's turbo crew. All second generation racers

I heard somewhere that 48" is the max for a snowmobile. After that the feds don't consider it a snowmobile.

Awesome build Max.

Yuppers,,, Dad Bakus still visits Jackson's Hole with boys when He can get away. Meet Him and Vincen Clark many a times over the years.

Middle class generation we call our selves. Ha.

Hard to believe that I was the young fellow back then, boy have the years gone by fast.
