Yes and now all premium fuel runs ethanol which sucks! So I guess one just runs the 91 premium setting?

Never changed a plug in my suzi 800 cat. 2300kms and counting

My 2011 m8 had 6500+ Km on it when I decided to change the plugs and belt. Did both just because. Primary clutch broke into pieces and when I was putting a new clutch on I figured I’d start with a fresh new belt. Then noticed a plug wire was almost wore through from rubbing on something so changed them out and put fresh plugs in. That sled was bulletproof, should never of sold it, be great to ride around home…… but then I’d have to buy an ASA pass or Tyler G would ban me from snow and mud again

the original yamaha 700 triples were the same
best ever reliableble 2 strokes built

Your not wrong on the build quality, cat design but built properly by Suzuki and built to last and beat the hell outta.

What are the arctic cat guys talking about at the bottom of the hill? I just hear static on the radio.

Not sure, been up in turbo country lately watching all the N/A sleds try to make it past the trees. I’ll ask around and find out

Looks like it is working good! What springs and weights are you finding are working best to keep rpms around 8200-8300?

For the p22 I use a 120/320 primary spring.
For the p85 I use 66g weights and a 140/330 (stock 9r spring).

what weights should the 9r run at 6 to 7 thousand feet . dealer told me it will swing 76

You could or run a 120/320 spring. I have a 120/310 spring but haven’t had to use it yet. I’d rather change a spring on the hill.

I’m running cycles and sleds clutching (Logan Utah) riding 4,500-9,000 feet. Clutching is so good. Their clutching takes a pound of rotating mass out of the clutch. Primary spring, custom weights, secondary spring and diff helix and other.
About 400 miles on this set up, huge improvement over stock.
Check out their site and videos on their set ups.

Glad it's working and I have seen his videos. What rpms are you seeing on a good pull?
