Nice rig and your little friend looks like he would make fantastic peperoni :)

You must have the on-board scales?

80,500 is my allowable off highway. Can go to 82,000 without penalty but at 82001 it's a fine and I don't get paid for the extra 1500.

Forgot about my little friend that hangs around

Wow! That's a lot on 7 axles. Only 17000 more than a hiway super B.

In the late 80's a buddy used to run what they called a short logger right from the landing where they were harvested the logs on the side of the mountain into Stewart

I help him chain up triples on both drive axles and a set of singles on the front axle of the trailer

Get loaded up

Then I watched him smoke a cigarette give his little dog a treat (doggy was pissed I was in his seat)and use a jake brake, transmission retarter, trailer brake handle, brake pedal and sometime the accelerator as we came down the side of the mountain going back and forth on switch backs

think about it now and still freaks me out
