I just bought a set of the big gay gloves for my wife from Princess Auto. The best $20 I ever spent. They are loose enough to get your hands in and out quick, but tight enough to keep the cold out.

Haha, they aren't easy on the eyes, but they do work. I love mine for these Canadian winters. In the summer I'm putting on hand guards.
