Buddy bought a new 9R for $16k+tax last season. Boosts were $17k+tax. They had a couple of each.

How would a guy feel if he spent 27,000g on a boost @ 11 - 19 % interest to find out they were selling for 17g under a year later. There will be lots of financial combustion over the next couple years.

I used to keep track of costs, but have come to the conclusion that there's no point thinking about it like that anymore. If you want to take the sport seriously and have new toys, sledding is the worst possible financial decision you can make.

Edit: That said, if you are going to participate in what is essentially a luxury power sport, you shouldn't be financing.

After being for sale for 2 years i had my first person come to look. It was for his friend though. Guy didnt end up taking it. The deal was for 1900$.

I ask why for analitics and It came down to plastics in rough shape and me being honest about the engine. I told him it could last 5000km or blow up in 10 mins. If i just said it will go forever probably would have closed the deal. Lol

Oh well, like i told buddy, i dont care if it ever sells or not.

I might fix it up a bit, but then id want more money for it.

Back in the shed lol

I delisted off of kijji due to too many stupid questions. One guy wanted me to drive half way to Sask to meet him. Ya no thanks lmao

A couple different snow and mudders are interested though, so might go to a good home yet.

This is the kanedog and lilduke do whistler sled. It has some good memories

I’m hoping to be able to score a ‘deal’ on a turbo axys (maybe even pro-ride)

I figure it makes more sense to spend ~8k on a sled with a turbo as opposed to 5ish turboing my current axys. And then I have a spare N/A on deck when the turbo decides to inevitably not act right

Classic sledder math I’d say

People make me laugh….

3800 k…. And then say “not bagged” even though its been pounded down every rough trail in BC.

5000k in Ontario is probably half the wear that a BC sled has seen.
Dunno , I think it's the other way around

Lake riding at full clip all the time in straight lines , is way harder than tree riding

They arent afraid of high miles down there.

11000km and asking 9500. On the first page. Tons of high mile units out east

That isnt a wow post. 10,000 , 15,000 km on fairly new sleds is very comon out east.
Go look on kijji....

Trails dont kill motors like pow does.

There is some nice ones on kijji.

Saw a boost it axys for 8500 yesterday

I’ve def spent some time drooling over turbo’d axys’ on kijji I haven’t heard much from boost it as far a reviews tho

Was leaning more towards BD, redline or silber
