So why do I regularly see new Canadians unload 8 people out of a Honda Civic or 80s minivan along the shoulder of qe2 on the busiest days of the year for a stretch and think this is a good idea.

We are just a labour contractor. We help the owner be the general. The lumber yards can only guarantee a price for 24 hours on a bid but once your locked in that price is good for the project. We are pricing some projects with 18’ of poured in place concrete walls for the same price as wood construction. Crazy times. How do you quote a job right now when your material cost is inflating weekly Curtis? I’m providing pricing with a 30 day window. But not only is pricing skyrocketed, stock is limited and dropping daily.
