I'm thinking 28 pot lights on the main. That includes master bedroom and ensuite.

Industrial sized portable blast heater warming up non-insulated house to install spray foam insulation sucks back the gas :-( You can hear the heater in the back ground.

Check that baby spin...that is a 'half foot meter'

Thought I would post some pics of my garage. We moved into our house almost 5 months ago. When I designed my garage I wanted a 2 car garage big enough so I can park a crew cab long box dually inside with enough room for a work bench and enough room to walk around the truck so here we go. As you can see its not clean, and I dont have a fancy exopxy floor but it's aprox 1000 square ft and I can load my truck and get my sleds ready where it is warm and out of the weather.

the gargae is constructed out of ICF like the rest of the house and the concrete is heated with hot water.

the Garage doors are 10' by 10'

After a lot of thinking...This is what was done with the stairs.
The step was 10 inch's,tile guy cut it to 9 inch's..
Building code is 10 inch's

They removed top tile and placed a 10 inch stained hardwood step in it's place.

Stained the side strips and railings to match the upper railings..
Still touching up things in the house...

Metal work all done, scratch coat of stucco put on yesterday. Trim work almost finished inside, painters on site. Getting close now, finally.

Very sweet ^^

Just started planning my next build with my architect. 7800 sq ft. Including 26x40 attached garage with full suspended slab. 1.5 story with walkout basement on 15 acres. Not sure when excavation will start. Just in the very early stages of planning.

It's been a busy winter for sure, hoping to be in by the end of may. Garage floor and driveway getting prepped this weekend, will pour next week if the weather holds.

Looks awesome, what kind of railing are you going with around your stairs?

So you don't like my 2x4 railings???

Going with a maple rail & shoe with iron spindals and 5" maple posts. Stairs are maple stringers with carpet treads, I find wood stairs too slippery and usually noisy.
