I just bought the klim gear. I road up the trail in the rain and all day in wet heavy snow and I came out dry as a bone. It's worth it's weight in gold. Wifey didn't like the price but I SURE LIKE BEING WARM AND DRY.

they are tough, I think mine are called Baja or something. lots of zippered vents, over the boot style. the material weave is super strong, they look kind of like kevlar but breathable. I'll see if I can find a pic

That would be great. I need a new pair

Your speech to the troops before the historical crossing of the Appomattox? (to retrieve the cooler that fell off because you cheaped out on bungy cords).

Yamaha no longer has Klim clothing, they have 509 helmets, plus all the other lines and I think fxr also. I hope my Klim lasts along time. And with the warranty end of it if it has a brand like Yamaha Klim you have to go back to Yamaha and not Klim. Had a pair of boots the top peeled. My dealer warranties them. If I gotta buy new may have to try motorfist.

I bought a set of Klim summer gear and it seems to be great stuff, goin on 3 years and the pants are holding up awesome. had more than a few get-offs, I'm impressed. I've had Fox pants tear out riding single track just from branches.

I not saying it's bad stuff cause the winter stuff is good! It just seemed that they were focusing on the summer more.

lol...I don't own a stich of Klim winter gear, they sure don't price their summer gear in line with their winter stuff. I'm rockin FXR Mountain, I've been pretty happy with their products for years. I don't want to look like a mountain riding clone....

Yes there certainly are alot of peeps out there wearing Black Togwotee's and Valdez. I guess now we will be able to buy red, white and blue jackets so we don't all look the same. Lol.

you read the klim thread on SW? holy moley them boys are giving them a rough ride. a klim rep even started his own thread and they are bashing on it. I guess we really are kinder and gentler here in Canada....lol

Its a catch 22 situation for them. I am friends with the Canadian distributor and this company has grown remarkably since its early beginnings. It gathered support from all 4 rider brands and now one manufacturer buys them out. Will the haters still buy and support them still or will they gain more business by having the product in every Polaris dealership in North America? Time will tell.

Polaris would be smart to leave it as a stand alone brand IMO. If they put a Poo logo on the arm or breast pocket I won't be supporting the product anymore and either will other brand Klim dealers.

that's what they are saying right now, nothing will change. but you hear that same song and dance everytime one big company takes over another big company. then things change...lol

to boost sales polaris may have to give out free klim wear to prospective sledders and atvers. get yer lick and stick sleds and gear at your local poo dealer. they are getting as bad as crap tire. maybe crap tire will buy them out, would match the line of chinese quads they try to pawn off on those with no money or have no hope of getting any.
