ok ozone check my math:
assuming 3% hp drop per 1000 ft
assuming NA 850 is 165hp at sealevel
assuming linear boost increases from 10% at sea level to 50% at 10,000 feet:
NA HP: Boost % Boost HP:
sealevel - 165 10 181.5
1k - 160 14 182.4
2k - 155 18 182.9
3k - 150.5 22 183.61
4k - 146 26 186.88
5k - 141 30 183.3
6k - 137 34 183.58
7k - 133 38 183.54
8k - 129 42 183.18
9k - 125 46 182.5
10k - 121 50 181.5

Burandt says NA is 419 lbs. VOHK says 18 lbs extra for the turbo. So around 437lbs dry weight on the turbo.

447 on the website for a 165 2.75” RMK w/boost.

Was wondering why the marketing wasn’t the typical “we are the lightest” anymore. 447 is still very good, don’t get me wrong, but that has been the Polaris motto since 2013.

The also dont seem to be "Flickable" anymore!

Very impressive release but lets see some sleds on the snow with feedback from the public instead of just paid factory riders. You're a very brave and/or foolish guinea pig if you snowcheck one without at least seeing demo sleds in action.

these things are pricey. the base model is 21,700. you can get a 850T EXPERT for the same price. when you want colors, electric start, and a 3" track on your Polaris your up at 23,000.

an 850T 175 EXPERT is roughly the same price.

Good on Polaris for all the new stuff. new chassis, new boost, new clutch, etc. hopefully the release is just as good as skidoo turbo.

If I recall correctly the 2020.5 Doo Turbo was more expensive than the 21 & 22. Maybe the Polaris pricing will settle down after the first run? Or maybe it will be a better machine and worth the price.

If you poo dudes think that this 8.5 - 9psi system will annihilate a doo at 4psi.... you're going to need plenty of popcorn to go around... Enjoy!

Going to be very interesting comparison between the skidoo. Polaris marketing team needs to come up with some better names for their sleds. Matrix/ Slash Slaps patriot turbo?? Made in the US of A, I get the patriotic thing. And just in case you forget, put a giant Poost sticker on the side.
