Its good and its bad. You would think its great for marketshare and keeps the shareholders happy but people want access to product and if they can't get it from you they will buy from the next guy basically killing your share. I remember one year BRP sold more current models in a year but Polaris sold less current but way more non current with large rebates and together sold more sleds than BRP. Marketshare isn't just based on new current but includes all units going out the door.

Why did BRP cut there snow cheque time 2 weeks then .

Dealers can sell as many turbo's as they order and will only be cut back if they don't sell them all on snowcheck. The rest of the models are no limit but I was told they feel the spring selling season is to drawn out and people tend to lose interest in April and start concentrating on other outdoor activities.

I heard due to Covid supply chain issues they needed to have their ducks in a row a little sooner. Not verified information though

Yes
This is what I have heard as well and possibly what Polaris is doing as well ?

Arent the two situations different tho as Doo had dropped the length of their program right from the beginning whereas Polaris seems to be pulling back mid stride, I’m guess Polaris just didn’t anticipate the volume of sales that they are making???
