Well we are planning our 3rd annual family camping road trip through BC for late June. The last years 2 loops were bigger (3500km ish) but we HAD to make miles everyday and so this time we are doing 2000km in 11 days.

current plan starts with:

Edmonton to Jasper Wapiti Campground

Wapiti to Lake Louise Campground

... Then we have no plans for 4 nights but would like to end up in Kamloops via Revelstoke and Kelowna.

I'm looking for campground suggestions for a truck camper setup between Lake Louise and Kamloops.

I have noticed the Glacier national park camping doesn't start until July 1 so we cant stay there.... have to stop another year, Loop Brook and Ilecilewat are on my list for sure.

Going to stop back in Jasper on the way home and stay a night in Jasper's Whistlers Campground for the last hoorah

I'll post up pics along the way!

Johnson Lake is a real beautiful lake. There is a small lodge there as well where you can book if i recall. Also a first come first serve campground other end of lake. Its between Barriere and Kamloops off Agate bay road

Take the gorge road over to Seymour Arm. Some real nice spots back in there if you don’t mind some bush roads and no services. A couple places to camp right on the beach. Can easily loop back out to Kamloops from there
Perry River RD?

No the road to the west of that range. The perry (North Fork) road could still be potentially avalanche blocked this year end of June. The gorge takes you up the north end of queest above anesty arm and pops you down onto the north fork at km65 under the power lines from mica dam.
Looking down anesty arm from the summit. Nice place to stop for a beer!

That’s the gorge road. It’s the first right hand turn after the last spike. The road you turn off the number 1 is lybarger road. About a km up that you take a right onto the gorge. The first 16km you climb to almost 6000’ then it’s a long decent down to the north fork at km65. About 20km from there into town. Nicest beach on the Shuswap.

Ya RR9 then it switches toRR2 on the 1100 road then RR10 for the Seymour main back out to the north shore. They have been logging to km 48 all winter so the roads probably in decent shape to there.

Yeah i heard them on my radio when i was up the north fork
