I know its not the DI 6.2 but the LS3 is 430 hp and the ASA cam gets it to 530. I would imagine the bump stick is where you will see a gain. MPG usually helped by air in/out

Is this in a truck or what application? A cam that produces +100hp must tend to pull some torque out of the bottom end and shift the torque curve to the right.

What would the cost be for cam,ecm tuning , injectors , exhaust and intake .
Just curiosity.
Could install the supercharger and still have warranty also if done at approved dealer ?

Chop off muffler and install Magnaflow one, there’s a direct bolt on. No gains on most full exhausts found on the forums, that exhaust mod is typically better.
You can modify the intake box as well for more gains.

Good article thanks! Very worthwhile gains with that cam on their 6.0 without sacrificing any bottom end.

that cam comes in the CT525 engine we race with. We sit those motors at 6000rpm for 30-40 minutes at a time and they don't mind it... then this happens lol

#8 got unhappy. These motors are great but the piston is the weak point and if you've seen one, the pin doesn't have much meat around it. the boat may have come in and out of the water and twisted the crank or something funny. I'm not too sure really.

Yeah I see the pin boss torn in half, was thinking that must have happened first cause I can't see it being collateral damage. Sustained high RPM & cyclical compression/tension loading at the pin boss eventually causes it to come apart under tension. Piston keeps travelling up with the rod and pin going back down lol.

usually we wreck #1 cuz it gets the cold water first and the sleeve grabs the piston and pulls off the crown. They are good motors, but once you hurt a sleeve past .005" or .010" the blocks hooped... or too much money to repair

I've been considering Chev's exhaust upgrade, as I have a 18 6.2 as well.
I know if you talk to Jeff aka Tex78 he knows some guys that will direct tune, but you'll lose all of your warranty. I'm not ready to go down that rode yet..... But have noticed that "Banks" has some cool upgrades too

Chop off the muffler and install an aftermarket muffler with the little flapper restriction. Better or same as make exhaust systems for way less.
Some full exhausts are less ID than the exhaust on the 6.2l so be careful. I believe Corsa is same ID so all good there but not sure how much gains to be had?
