Painting assault

Sick of the flat red so I strip the decals off removed the hood . now my ? Is do I need to do anything special to the plastic for prep? I am an x body man so know the step to take for a normal job just not to sure about the plastic. so if you have painted your iq any info would be cool

i would just wrap it in vynil, most kits cost about $300 and with some bodyshop experience should be able to do by yourself in a afternoon.

Thanks but I striped it down and painted it a nice glossy black and ordered a arctic fx kit . All done but the tunnel
