Previous two years............. **** that drive shaft went back to 2005 or something. I gotta agree there, R and D that went no where. I weighed my 2013 stock shaft to the steal shaft with avid drivers that replaced it and it was 4-5lbs diff.

That's pretty substantial rotating mass. Are you sure it's not worth carying a spare.

I heard there good till 2000k. Then you have to put 1500$ into a fix kit. Because your factory 6 month snowcheck warranty is up

No you see the smart guys only get the 2 year min. And put the fix kit in at 1500 miles so we dont have to sit out all winter to get a new motor thats on back order when it goes compared to the guys that pay as much as a skidoo for 4 year warranty.
