We had an unreal trip to revy this last weekend. The weather was great although the first day on boulder went from +20 blue bird to a full on blizzard. Went into turtle for 2 days of incredible riding and watched the thunderstruck guys climb the nastyest chutes.

Rained hard here for 2 days, fresh snow yesterday afternoon.

They got the new antenae put up. Looks good guys. Thanks.
After the Turbo Avy there were meetings with backcourntry users groups, tenure holders and all organizations involved in the rescue. When an emergency of this magnitude takes place a lot is learned. All of us have added each other as emergency contact #`s in our safety plans. There is a designated emergency radio channel for this area. It was amazing when it happened how everyone did come to help. There was lots of talk about a man`s backcountry agreement.
Our local S&R was given a $150,000 grant. Major upgrades in communication and equipment has been made. The antenae was part of it and a new transmitter because Revelstoke S&R also answers in the mtns. for Eagles Pass and areas N and S of Revelstoke.

Just got into Revy tonight but I heard that guys were driving up to about the 6km mark. It's supposed to be pretty good up there. Nice weather and decent snow!

Parked at the top of LaRoy Lane 6 k Bezanson, rode some gravel on the way up and lots on the way down. I think your better off going up the Kirkup now.

I chickened out on going up monster. Looked like a nasty trench at the first narrow spot that turns to the right....the sled definitely has what it takes....me, not so much...lol
