We've also been riding since sunday. Conditions are spectacular & sun & blue sky every day. Rode Trout Lake / Blue lake & a couple of other awesome areas. Going for a chopper tour this morning to check some view from the air. Definately a trip to remember. Have never posted any pictures but will try later
We had 28 foot trailers at km 4 or so. no problem. Tons of snow still up there. No one riding barely. Saturday there were about 8 trucks, sunday about 5 and monday we had boulder all to ourselves. On monday a groomer was sitting at the snowline when we got down that day.
Groomer will be heading up Fri. morning. S&R and club members are installing new antenae on new cabin and taking down the one on the old cabin. Old cabin is being dismantled now.
Groomer isn`t going up on a regular basis, only when needed and they are using the small drag. They are using the machine to knock down snow around the old cabin to remove the cladding. Lots of the material has to be flown out.
If Homer is wearing a wig and bikini I might even come up to see that. :d
How is the snow holding up?? I heard on the news today that you guys set a record for high temp in that area and you were the high temp of the province at 28.1 degrees. It was 23 degrees here today.
Still lots of snow. Rainy days still bring fresh up top. :d
Lots of people still comming to town to ride, yesterday looked like a Sat. in Mar. at the pumps.
