Put around 8000km on this thing only let me down once. Oil tank cracked at the boss/fitting at bottom of tank. Towed it out of Renshaw , jb welded the bottom of tank that night and broke into horsey creek next day. Was a good sled

Started off in life as a 09 146 800R P T.E.K ended up a 174x3” Terra Alps Tunnel, Avid Drop and Roll Chain Case, C3 Belt Drive, C3 Hood and lower Airbox. Ti A-Arms, 860 Big Bore, Ice Age Rails and slough of other goodies along the way I cannot remember anymore. This sled would leave the dirtiest of all trenches.

Yes, the oil tank on those were a weak point. We use to make custom oil tanks for the Nytro.
I also had around 8,000km on my Nytro and also was towed out once only, the tunnel dump pipe coming off the turbo(center mount) broke and the exhaust was dumping directly onto the fuel tank. I lightly rode it back to the trail head and towed from there.
Definitely one of the best sleds I had over the years. Easy to ride too.

I wish I still had a pic of my 2003 cream sickle stretched to a 141 from Baker. Was an awesome sled

This was what I considered my first ‘mod’ sled, 2010 RMK 600 that was a 144x2 and I stretched it out to a 155x2.4, did full SLP exhaust vents reeds and of course the custom powder coating and hand polished tunnel. Upgraded piggyback shocks. Clutch work done with new helix / weights. Bar risers and HID headlights. I was close to BB’ing it with a Carls 660 kit. But found a deal on a 2013 pro the following season that I couldn’t pass on. Sold this sled to a fella out east in Manitoba with 2800 miles so just broken in for him. Was a fun project went a lot of places with this machine.
