Started with a 1997 MXZ 670 121”, finished with 670 Aerocharger turbo with cheater switch to 9lbs boost (approx 185hp) racer edge bulkhead which we dropped and rolled more to put the secondary shaft inside the tunnel ,9 tooth extravorts 163”x 2.25 camoplast track ,chrome moly front end ,Lexan hood. Weight around 417 lbs was a blast to drive .I really enjoyed building most of the sled myself (as we used to say “we hacksawed it together “

looking for a pre mid exhaust pipe for 670 so my son can take it out for a ride to see how it will do against my 22 850 turbo 175”

That’s a cool sled. Put a lot of km on a 98 summit X 136” Them old s chassis sure worked well back in their day. Any one ever have a racers X sled? I used to go on there website and drool over them when I was a kid.

Had a 98 summitX and a 98 SRX. The summit was definitely the better handling but the SRX was crazy fast.

It was 2 - 15” x174” with consecutive serial# from same batch that I cut down to 10” wide and tensioned togethe. The build is on here Custom Mountain Twin 174’s.

Had a peek at your build thread, very nice 👍🏻
Most people would not appreciate the hours and “engineering” put in to a project like that. Interesting that you had the motor on the tunnel, the mass centralization, moto-style seating, and increased height must have helped the boon-docking ability, but definitely not the rip down the trail ditch banging ability. Definitely a purpose built unit.
Any video of this unit?
