C'mon do you think Canadian government bureaucrats can effectively vet 200+ people a day in order to meet Trudopes agenda? It takes weeks to renew a PAL or passport for a citizen. What kind of screening can they do in that timeframe??

bang on!!! IMO the governments fear people who can think for themselves and would rather have a bunch of sheep making up the bulk of the population. Media is no different and I can see from some of the comments on S&M we have some sheep here too

If they keep them stupid they can get away with whatever they want. But I'm sure we've all been guilty of being sheep at some point in time, I know I have.

I agree with you but from what I have read/understand they are taking people that are still in refugee camps with women and children and have been screened by various groups already such as UN/Red Cross and now Canadian government personal. I am in favour of bringing refugees but not by Christmas. 6 months maybe. In addition, the Conservatives had already started the process months ago so it is a matter of taking over where they left off.
