I'll be honest with you, my sled engine is still sitting in the basement, with the puller kit sitting next to it. Too much ch!t going on at work to even deal with this, let along come on snow and mud. I'm surprized i noticed this. We'll see how the next few weeks go before i head outta town for a while.

lots of quiet, someone not truthful at all. by the condition of motor shown, buyer didn't take very good care of motor, oil from exhaust everywhere. looked bagged. who is telling truth? serial #'s can be traced.

if i were barnes, i'd not be waiting around.

Well a loose y pipe will cause oil to be everywhere so I don't know if I would consider that to be bagged... Just not cleaned

I'm going to assume the cracked carb boot that was on that side was the cause of the lean out... thus exploding that cylinder.

Holy Chit that was a long one....

Maybe the roomate that borrowed the sled blew up the "New Short block" then proceded to downtown Valemount and purchased a back alley jb weld special from behind the Palace.........

I doubt a military man would lie .........

But I also doubt that Teth-Air is that hard up for money that he would Lie about it being a new short block .........

Fun Fact: If everyone that viewed this thread gave Barnes a toonie, he'd have a new etech by now....crazy amount of air time.

Lets see the inside of that block Barnes......
P.S don't lend the roomate your Chit.

As a small business owner Teth-Air has nothing to gain by treating customers poorly .......I havn't been on this site as long as most of you but I think we have to give the man some street credit here.

I know if my sled ch!t the bed, I would be pullin all nighters trying to figure out exactly what went wrong.

To many holes in this story....

takes like ten mins to undoo the bolts to split the block...just sayin

Especially being a professional mechanic ……

And the last time I checked being a mechanic in the military was a government job so how busy can he really be ……..

Holy crap did I miss alot on this thread in a couple days....

Lots of know it alls going on though!

Go buy a new short block and say "I can make this sled mine"

So sad for your lose, but think of what you will have after a 4 grand upgrade with clutch, reeds etc.

Just blow the doors of the boys after that!!!!

Good luck with your new build.
