you get 24 mpg on a full size diesel pickukp ?

sorry but either your calculator is broken or you drive 90 max on the highway ?

No lift or bigger tires it's not hard to get 24 with the new Dmax's.
Can't comment on Ford or Dodge but I am sure they can as well .
Some are harder on fuel but most are getting that.

Alright then. I stand corrected.

Nope you're right bigger tanks started on all LML's, so 2011+... Crew can short box anyway, didn't need to be special ordered

My 2011 got 1000-1100 hi way km's per tank empty in summer.

Yep it is around there. It has been going slowly down but after a few high speed passes it comes back up then down again. I am guessing it will settle around 13.5l/100km for my driving style. When I was on the highway with no traffic and flat it was around 10l/100kms consistently. Not sure what that is in MPG.

10l per 100 is 28 mpg

image.jpg This is from my 2015 denali cclb. This gives a pretty good idea of overall mileage including towing.

THIS IS THE Z71 PACKAGE:

Z71 Appearance Off-Road Package
This available option includes the following features:
  • 35mm twin tube gas-charged shocks
  • A 33.6mm front stabilizer bar
  • Under body transfer case shield
  • High-capacity air cleaner
  • Z71 badge and decals
  • Unique gauge cluster, lower bumper appearance, interior trim plates and grill design
  • Brushed metal Z71 door sill plate
  • Hill descent control

Most of it is available in other option packages. Offroad gas shocks not so much for towing, as per GM. Recommended to get HD towing package, which has the heavier components for towing....

No Monster decal?

I bought a new one a couple weeks ago as well. Decided to go with the GMC AllTerain package and couldn't be more happy with it. My first tank I got just over 900kms, mostly in town and put a 124L in it so I was impressed. Cant wait for the first trip as I had the small 90L tank before. I went with the dark blue but black looks great as well.

My 3500 megacab gets over 20mpg all the time. If it ever got driven nicely I'm sure it would be over 25.

I don't have it deleted but I pull alot even in the city I am around 600 to 700 km at most, so I guess I got a friday truck, my father also has the exact same truck and gets the same mileage as I do. Mine will be deleted shortly I do have bigger tires but ones that only fit without a lift. So I didn't think that would kill 400 k a tank.

You say you pull a lot. How much weight. How far can you go on a tank empty? You can't expect to get 1000 km to a tank while pulling a heavy load. Any tire increase to drop your mileage. Might be big or small. If you have injector issues or regen too often that will kill your mileage too.

I pull alot as in I use the truck for what it's made for, and I have drove on the highway with no load and if I drive with a very modest foot I would be lucky to get 800 k so I guess I have regeneration issue or Injector issues. And pulling my toy hauler witch is 17000 i get around 25 to 28 l per 100 k.

You could have had a truck built for me. Lol. I have had lots of trucks that had crappy mileage while others in the same truck have great mileage
